The Under Vehicle Surveillance System (UVSS) is specially designed to provide a fast and effective means for security professionals to scrutinize the undercarriage of a vehicle without causing great disturbances to the traffic flow. it can be deployed at crucial entry points of buildings or critical infrastructures.
The Portable UV Colour Under Vehicle Surveillance system adopts advanced linear scan image processing technology to provide a detail inspection result in the form of a complete full colour undercarriage image for inspection.
The system enables security officers to scrutinize any under-vehicle explosive devices, contraband or suspicious items attached to the undercarriage of all types of vehicle such as car, MPV, lorry or container truck. In addition, there are also optional features that can be incorporated into the system to provide clients a total vehicle scanning and management system at the entrance of the premise.
This advanced technology has replaced the conventional method of using mirror search stick to screen the vehicle as it gives a complete undercarriage image on the display screen to make inspection easier and able to store the images as backup/record for future referencing.

Components of the Portable UV Colour consist of the following:
a. 1 set of Portable Observation Unit for image capturing
b. 1 set of computerized Receiving Laptop pre-loaded with software application for monitoring and inspection.
The portable observation unit contains built-in camera(s) and lightings, which is design to screen vehicle of all weight and size.
A compact metal steel ramp of dimension 850 x 850 x 95mm is provided. The ramp is of light weight of 80kgs only.
The entire vehicle undercarriage is captured as the car drives over the Observation Unit which is placed on the surface of the road. A robust hard rubber side ramp which also acts as a Cable Protector is provided.
A built-in vehicle detector is used to detect incoming vehicles, activates or deactivates the system.
The Receiving Laptop is a notebook computer processor that allows reviewing, recording and storing of vehicle data and undercarriage image. It acts as the inspection station and is light and portable. Security personnel conduct undercarriage effortlessly from the LCD screen that display a complete colour undercarriage image for examination.
The Receiving Station is provided with a computer user interface for undercarriage inspection.
